TheABUS GRANIT™ Super Extreme 2500 is designed to counter the most aggressive theft attempts, including those carried out with battery-powered angle grinders, a technique unfortunately becoming increasingly common in large cities. It is the ideal anti-theft device for e-bikes, cargo bikes, and high-value bicycles that require superior security.
Special materials to withstand the toughest attacks
During development, ABUS introduced a special Tungsten carbide material blend around the shackle and body of the lock. This reinforcement ensures exceptional resistance to cutting attempts with power tools, making the shackle extremely difficult to compromise.
In addition to the special coating, the shackle, housing, and supporting parts are made of hardened steel, further increasing the overall robustness of the system.
ABUS XPlus™ cylinder for advanced protection
The sophisticated XPlus™ cylinder ensures high protection against expertly executed opening techniques, such as picking or lock-picking.
The Made in Germany quality guarantees reliable and consistent performance over time.
USH2500 bracket included for stable mounting
The lock comes with the USH2500 bracket, which is easy to install thanks to plastic-coated metal straps and optional holes for screw mounting.
Both ends of the shackle anchor securely to the bracket to prevent movement while cycling.
The large shackle clearance of the 165HB230 model allows for numerous practical and quick anchoring options.
